Very Cool Retro Panasonic KX-T4000 Flip Phone! I Don’t Normally Get Excited Over Cordless Phones, Though This Phone Is Different, Very Different!
I remember when this phone was released. I wanted one, but never got one. The Panasonic KX-T4000 was a high end phone and was very expensive. This phone was way beyond it’s time and cool by even today’s standards. Of course it isn’t a smart phone and doesn’t text, or send nudies. But it does do just about everything else and it looks damn good doing it!
This phone is next to impossible to find. Just go searching for one and you will soon realize just how rare this extremely unique phone is. You might find a beat up base unit, or a broken handset, though finding a complete, new in the box system, absolutely forget about it!
So you can imagine how thrilled I was when I came across this phone at a local estate sale. Buried under boxes of an now deceased audiophiles records and real to reals. There it was, It didn’t take more than about a fraction of second for me to go for it. Secured and in the bag I wasn’t able to confirm it’s NIB condition until getting back to the compound.
New in the box with one tiny defect. A Mouse burrowed it’s way into the phone’s box at some point. Chewing a hole through the styrofoam box and nibbling just a tad on the end of the antenna. Other than that this phone is tits!
Unfortunately for me, I don’t have a landline anymore. Just being able to marvel over it for a few days was more than enough me. So I’m passing it on, with a steep asking price.
